Wyrd Miniatures have posted details of their release schedule for August, and October 2010.

From their announcement:
August will see an expansion rulebook for Malifaux along with additional box sets and clamshells for masters, henchmen and minions. A new deck of cards called our Puppet Deck, which can be used as an alternative Fate Deck and is made out of plastic, making it much more durable to wear and tear during play. Lastly, we partnered with WorldWorksGames to create fully customizable and tangible terrain for your skirmish gaming which we call Terraclips. Our first three offers of this new line will be the 3D Streets, Sewers and Buildings of Malifaux.

These will see an early release at Gencon with a public release over the next couple of months through distribution and retailers. Information is below.

I have just received an email from CGS in regards to registering an event at Cancon 2011.

To ensure that we get the most entrants possible, I need to find out what kind of events you want run. These are the things to consider:

Are you intending on entering a Warmachine/Hordes event at Cancon?
Do you want the event to run over all 3 days?
Do you want the event to have 3 different points levels on each of the 3 days?

I am not wed to any particular caster or array of models, but this will be my 4th faction so I want a relatively small model count and no more than 50pts (basically, I want to play 35pts with options). The list need not be cutting edge competitive and I am happy to pursue tier lists.

I intend to paint them up in the Blue/White/Silver 'Interdiction of the Covenant' scheme from Superiority (pgs 86-87). I also hope to take my time and do I quality job of it.

So, what lists would you recommend and why?

About the only thing I'll say to start off, I like the Paladin of the Wall models and the Guardian jack. EDIT - Ooooh and the Bastions. Those are sweet models!]]>

On the other hand, last week I fudged most of the mkII rules in order to teach a potential new player the game (and I still lost...), and he's already promised to bring someone else's Menoth figures this week; so if anyone wants to borrow my spares while I'm playing to test out the Iosans, you're more than welcome to!
